Annual plans are billed once, upfront, on the day you subscribe — then again on that same date each year. Every invoice is filed under Settings → Billing, and any upgrade mid-cycle is automatically prorated against the time you have left.
Yes. Upgrades take effect instantly and we only charge the prorated difference for the rest of your period. Downgrades apply at the start of your next cycle, so you keep every feature you have already paid for until then.
Your data is encrypted with AES-256 at rest and TLS 1.3 in transit. We run automated backups every six hours with 30-day retention, and Cadence is independently audited to SOC 2 Type II.
